The Education Garden is a welcoming and bountiful environment that invites school groups, scout troops, faith groups, families and individuals to participate in growing fresh produce for those in need.
Our mission is to educate, demonstrate and share knowledge on a variety of environmentally sound methods for growing nutritious produce while caring for the earth that sustains us.
An Education Garden session lasts about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Activities include Weed Search, Composting and projects which vary with the season.
Scout troops and students can earn community service hours by helping with garden maintenance and sign making.
